Last weekend Adam managed to do a fantastic job of winning the E123 race at the Velopark. It was a strong solo effort as Mitchy was off to Manchester to (sadly not) ride in the National Track Championships. Adam got himself into an early three-man break and launched a solo attack with thirty minutes still to go in the hour-long race. Adam maintained his lead over the chasing pack and finished a brilliant 1 minute 40 over the bunch.

Mitchy had to pull out of the Nationals due to illness which was a bit of a blow to both himself and the team but with such a long season left to race it was absolutely the right call to make. He was still off the bike this weekend so once again Adam was our only rider at the Velopark. A seriously tough race this week and despite being in a couple of breaks Adam was unable to hold a gap as the pack chased everything down. Unfortunately we will have to wait to get our next podium!
